Welcome to Midlife Mocha – The podcast celebrating and embracing Midlife as a Black. I’m covering topics that are important to me, ranging from faith and values to health and politics. These are my views on living life unapologetically and stress free. I’m not here to give advice, but you’re free to take it. I’m not here to replace a therapist, accountant, lawyer, or medical expert…I share my experiences and views and encourage seeking out sound advice from those who are qualified to do so.
FBI Special Agent, Jeanette Harper from the El Paso Field Office speaks with us about the FBI’s 2021 Hate Crimes Campaign. Jeanette is a graduate of Andress H.S. in Northeast El Paso and is passionate about keeping our community safe. She is the reason why I decided to add this monthly segment to our radio network. First Fridays with the FBI is a segment for everyone, regardless of age, ethnicity, faith/religion of choice, or socioeconomic status. It will feature Jeanette as well as other agents who will expound on their purpose in our community as what I consider, one of the elite and necessary, Law Enforcement Agencies in the Greater El Paso area. Of course, I love, respect, pray for, defend, and hold accountable, all of our LEOS in the Sun City. Please make sure to visit the BlackEl PasoVoice.com, the YouTube or Facebook page, to view the feature celebrating 100 years of Black FBI Agents. Get to know some of those who serve our nation and keep us safe.
