Midlife Journey… Beginning Again…

My intention was to begin the first Monday of the year relaunching my blog (I love Mondays). However, life happened. One of my resolutions for the New Year is to stay the course when it comes to sharing my life, my purpose, and my journey.
Sidebar: I’ll opine about the word “resolutions” and why some are incorrectly correcting others for using the term.
I am inviting you to connect with me as I continue this journey towards a healthier lifestyle, in all areas of my life. I genuinely believe that some of our life mishaps should be shared to encourage, inspire, and motivate others to avoid the same pitfalls, and more so, how to keep it moving when and if we do get off course.
Every year it seems like I’m proclaiming a do-over when it comes to life, love, health, fitness, and happiness. Well, this time around I committed myself to empowering myself to strengthen my resolve to use my energy to ‘unapologetically’ focus on me.
In addition to the other areas of my life, this physical body has been challenging. No excuses. As a believer, I believe the following statement wholeheartedly: “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. ~1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Beginning January 17th, I begin my personal 6 month “Road to 50” challenge. If you would like to join me and share your progress whether it be physically, mentally, spiritually, socially, or emotionally, sign up for updates on the website where I will share this journey.
Thank you to my tribe of sister-friends for being motivators, listening ears, and shoulders to cry on. I
